Acceptable Use Policy

Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who uses Seedances (seedances.ai), including our AI video and image generation tools. It supplements our Terms of Service. By using the service, you agree to follow this policy.

Seedances is an independent platform. We provide access to third-party AI models (such as Seedance, Seedream, and Nano Banana) through our interface. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the creators of those models.

Permitted use

You may use Seedances to create lawful video and image content for personal, commercial, or creative projects, including marketing, social media, product visuals, and pre-production, provided you:

• Have the rights to any prompts, reference images, audio, or video you upload.
• Comply with applicable laws and these policies.
• Respect the intellectual property and privacy rights of others.

Prohibited content and conduct

You must not use Seedances to create, request, upload, share, or distribute content that:

Sexual and adult content

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or obscene material of any kind.
• NSFW, "adult", erotic, or sexually suggestive imagery or video — including AI-generated content.
• Content that sexualizes minors in any way (zero tolerance; reported to authorities).

Harmful manipulation

• Face-swap, deepfake, or face-manipulation tools or outputs intended to impersonate real people without consent.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery (NCII) or content designed to harass, defame, or deceive about a person's identity.

Violence, hate, and illegal activity

• Graphic violence, gore, or content that promotes terrorism, self-harm, or illegal acts.
• Hate speech, harassment, or content targeting individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.

Intellectual property and privacy

• Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, or other rights you do not hold.
• Uploading personal data of others without permission.

Abuse of the service

• Attempting to bypass content filters, moderation, or safety controls.
• Marketing or promoting "uncensored", "unfiltered", "no filter", or "18+" generation on or through our platform.
• Automated scraping, reselling API access, or other use that violates our Terms.

Moderation and enforcement

We use automated and manual review, including third-party moderation services, to help detect policy violations. We may:

• Block or reject prompts and generation requests that violate this AUP.
• Remove or disable access to outputs that violate this policy.
• Suspend or terminate accounts without refund for serious or repeated violations.
• Report illegal content to law enforcement where required.

Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for prompts you submit and content you generate. Do not rely on the service for legal advice about whether specific content is permitted in your jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
